 La
Costa Group LLC (LCG) is a management consulting firm
with senior level expertise in corporate strategy
and execution, business development, emerging technology
commercialization, operations and finance.
We founded
LCG in 1992 to provide high caliber leadership resources
to companies whose internal resources are pressed
for time, facing severe budget constraints, and struggling
to cope with uncertain changes in the marketplace.
We specialize in helping both developed companies
through difficult turbulent markets and emerging
ventures through the tough challenges of business
development. Our consultants and associates have proven
experience in profit improvement and business start-ups.
Their analytical capabilities and capacity to transfer
knowledge to clear, focused solutions have enabled
over 100 companies worldwide to address a wide range
of challenges, improve performance, and better manage
their success.
We invest in, commercialize, and
develop partnerships with select new business and
emerging medical technology ventures displaying high
growth and business enterprise value potential. Our
current investments are Health
Odyssey LLC, RegeneMed, and Salvino-Flex
LLC. Martin Kleckner, III, the company's
managing principal is a member of Tech Coast Angels.
We provide widespread executive
experience in helping companies increase their productivity,
reduce costs, grow business value, penetrate new markets,
and develop the effectiveness of key management and
staff. Several of our senior advisors are certified
Six Sigma Black Belts. Through its affiliate, The
International Group, Inc. (TIGI),
clients are provided with comprehensive training programs
in sales, sales management, finance, business economics,
strategic planning, marketing and communications.
TIGI and LCG consultants teach courses and facilitate
programs in Europe, the Americas, and Asia for
dozens of Fortune 100 corporations such as General
Electric, Hewlett Packard, Honeywell, Johnson &
Johnson, Toshiba, Smith & Nephew and Roche Diagnostics.
On behalf of select emerging businesses,
we periodically transition from advisory roles to
assume management and business growth responsibilities,
as founding members and interim executives. Our
consultants escort new technologies through market
and competitor due diligence, business plan development,
capital raising (via angel networks, venture groups,
foundations and grants), business alliance formations,
and recruitment of key executives.
